WHO IS GUYDO
Carlos "Guydo" Rodriguez (born November 21, 1996, in Eindhoven, Netherlands) is a Dutch-Cuban rapper and singer. Active since 2010, his music blends genres such as rap, pop, trap, and reggaeton. His work spans both Dutch and Spanish songs, drawing inspiration from his Cuban roots.

EARLY LIFE
Born and raised in Eindhoven, Guydo grew up in a Dutch-Cuban household. During his teenage years, he discovered his passion for music and began writing and recording songs with friends. In 2015, he moved to Utrecht to attend the renowned Herman Brood Academy, where he developed his craft and connected with other aspiring artists.

GUYDO'S CARREER
In 2017, Guydo gained recognition as part of the rap group Bridde Boys with the hit single "Pitstop", which amassed over 30 million streams across platforms. The song showcased his ability to create catchy and impactful tracks, paving the way for his solo career.In 2018, he performed on the iconic Dutch hip-hop platform 101Barz, delivering a winter session that introduced his talents to a broader audience.Guydo has since released a series of solo projects, including "Flessen Leeg" in 2024, an emotional track reflecting on heartbreak, which gained positive attention in the media. Additionally, he explores his Cuban roots in Spanish-language tracks, collaborating with international artists and merging Latin influences with modern rap and pop.
